A highly popular game in Asia is making its way to the States. NetEase Games has launched the fantasy RPG Onmyoji worldwide, including in the US. It’s now available in the Google Play Store, as well as in Apple’s App Store and on Facebook Gameroom for PC owners. It currently has over 200 million players across Asia.
The game is set in a world where demons and humans coexist. Taking on the role of onmyoji, players in the game fight to restore the balance between the human and spirit worlds. In the game, players can fight alongside hundreds of spirits, called “shikigami”, each with their own skills and abilities. Players can earn earn amulets and experience points as they level up their character, and engage in single-player combat, along with only PvP matches with other players around the world.

One interesting feature is that players can end a game on their smartphone and continue on their PC, via Facebook Gameroom. Keep in mind that while it is free to download and play, Onmyoji does contain in-app purchases. Interested? Head to the link below for the download.
